Design in Details is a platform for a series of lectures, interviews and researches on the history and theory of design created by an independent curator and researcher Alyona Sokolnikova. The objective was to develop website and visual elements for a range of media platforms. We focused on developing a graphic system based on the fragments of the design pieces that represent different design fields, for example, construction elements for product design. This flexible system complimented with the typography is aimed to underline the idea of exploring the history of design in details. As well this approach allowed smooth incorporation of Alensa's original symbol – comma, that became an integral part of textual elements.
